 The Oscars took place on February 9, 2020 at the Dolby Theater. 24 awards were given out and 11 of them were given to the movie Parasite. According to BBC News Parasite has won best picture and screenplay alongside many others. The director Bong Joon-ho won best director. The best actors were given to Renee Zellwegar and Joaquin Phoenix who played the Joker. According to NY Times. Toy Story 4 was awarded the best animated feature and was the most popular movie at the time.
According to CNN.com Bong Joon-ho the director of Parasite is a South Korean filmmaker. Born September 14 1969 he has always been fascinated by film-making and movies. He started his first movie in 2017. And pursued his dream of being a professional filmmaker. Parasite is the very first Korean speaking movie to win best picture. Toy Story 4 won best animated feature. Toy Story 4 is an animated children's movie, with actors like Tom Hanks, Tim Allan, Keanu Reeves, Annie Potts and many others. In my opinion it was a great movie and apparently others agree with me. One of the four Toy Stories has won best picture. And only 3 animated movies have won best picture.
